I managed to record "Moment of Truth", a 10 song solo CD, in 2003. That is available at local CD stores around Worcester MA, and also on CD Baby, a web site of independent CD's for sale (great site: check it out here). Also available is solo project number 2, "Blueprints of Ruins". Many songs on the CD have a social/political angle to them, such as the title tune, and "Wrong Turn", which I wrote about the Bush elections.
December 5, 2007: Sample some of the music from my soon to be released blues CD, '12 Bars Tonight'. Just go to the jukebox on this page. Meanwhile, a new band is in the works. It features a true all-star lineup of Billy Macgillvray on drums, Glenn Ditommasso on bass, plus Rob Adams and Pete Macgillvray on various acoustic and electric guitars and vocals. It's all about songwriting in this project. Great harmonies, too. I'll keep y'all posted.
July 2008:  The band that I mentioned in the last blurb now has a name. We are called "Lunatic Fringe". Maybe someday soon I will actually find the time to nurture that project.
March 2009: I have started on this year's CD! As of yet, the CD has no title, but the songs are coming, some new, some to be revised from years back. More news on that to come!

Ken Jason is a writer of many different things, prose, poetry, haiku, and, most importantly, song lyrics. I have known Ken since we were in Junior High school, talking passionately about The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Bob Dylan. We wrote our first song together when we were in our late teens, and we have not stopped yet. Ken's lyrics are included in many of Hothouse's songs, as well as my solo stuff.

Trying to be literate without losing the simple soul, Ken's approach to lyrics is very creative. For the most part, he succeeds. It should be mentioned that other local bands have used Ken's lyrics in their original material. He is well known in these parts as an artist of the highest caliber.
